Nature walks at De Wijnlanden
It's seems spring is in the air and the De Wijnlanden wildlife is showing off! Even the owls are getting their fair share of attention calling us out at night.Take a 5km walking trail on the De Wijnlanden Estate and you are sure to see nature at it's best. With 7 dams the estate is home to some pretty spectacular wildlife! You are sure to come across the Geese and their 9 babies, the family of Koots as well as the white ducks at Darters Dam. Make sure to bring some bread along as they love the treat and so do the fish!
Amble onto the back of the estate and you might catch a glimpse of the 4 newly released springbuck settling into their new home. Take a walk through the vineyard and see if you can spot a chameleon or two or else sit quietly at the weaver dam and watch these beauties interact.
